Boss Babes! Meet Julia!

Blogging has been such a great outlet for me and thank you to so many of you who have continued to read! I have loved having a platform to speak life truths, share my love of fashion and decor, or just share what God is placing on my heart,  but another thing I have loved has been meeting other bloggers. I have met so many bloggers through Instagram and Facebook and some I have to say are seriously the coolest!!! Which brings me to this next blog post and I am so excited about it! I want to start introducing you to some amazing girls and their businesses!!! I’m calling it Boss Babes!

This next chick is so awesome… I knew right off the bat that I would like her and dig her stuff. And she not only is hilarious and great at blogging about her life and “whatever else she might want to tell you about”, but she is also a Boss Babe! That’s right?!!! She has her own clothing line of cute graphic tees and tanks!!!

Meet Julia!!!

When did you decide you wanted to design shirts?

I have always wanted to be in fashion. When I was in 5th grade my teacher had the class write essays about what we all wanted to be when we grew up. I wrote about fashion and I have never strayed from that. I also started studying graphic design last year and started playing around with shirt ideas. It just kind of stuck with me! I hope to expand Sensible Chaos to an online boutique and eventually my own clothing line!

Tell me about your business?

Sensible Chaos shirts just started from my blog. I moved from a city to a small town and needed a creative outlet, as those are hard to find in smaller communities. My blog has always been a place for me to talk about fashion, beauty, and life in general! Once I developed a decent following with my blog I decided to take the plunge and start a shirt line. It’s all a process, and as they say Rome wasn’t built in a day!

What is your fav shirt and why?

My favorite shirt would have to be, “Rose Is My Bae.” I came up with this idea after a trip to Florida for my best friend’s bachelorette party. We favored Rose over any of the tropical beach drinks offered. I have always been a wine drinker as well, and honestly you just can’t beat a good glass of Rose!

How do you come up with your ideas?

Lots of brainstorming! Often my husband (Alex) and I are sitting around and we just throw ideas back and forth and some just stick! I utilize the notes app a lot in my iphone because I never really know when inspiration will hit. My Dad is a constant source for, “one-liners” so that helps to! I have a shirt that says, “It may not be right but it’s damn sure correct,” this is from my Dad. He has said this for as long as I can remember.

I have loved getting to know Julia better and I absolutely love her shirts… they really are super cute!
