Four Holiday Tablescapes to inspire you & a festive cocktail to try!

Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! I hope you all are having a lovely time with family and friends celebrating the most wonderful time of the year. One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is create a beautiful table setting. I can’t wait til I have a table big enough to really throw a beautiful dinner party, but for now I will just dream and continue to decorate my little table for fun. I had a blast decorating our table and creating all of these festive looks! Like I said, we have a rather small table and according to dave, ” I like to decorate our table as if it were a large dinning room table.” He’s probably right, but I just love to make our table super festive and full! Today I’m sharing four different tablescapes to help inspire you as you decorate your tables for Christmas!

I loved how all of the tablescapes turned out and I had a lot of fun putting everything together for you all! And the best part is all of the items used are items I’ve had or things I’ve picked up after Christmas for cheap, at the Dollar General, or in the dollar bins at Target.

Here are all the things I used and locations I bought them in case anyone is interested!

Napkins – Gray ( Target), Red ( Pier 1), Gold ( Hobby Lobby), Red plaid ( Hobby Lobby)

Chargers- Gold and Red ( Dollar General for $3 each)

Placemats- White Sparkly Placemat ( Dollar General), Gold Placemat ( Pier 1)

White Plate Set- Target

Candle Centerpiece with berries and greenery- Hobby Lobby after Christmas ( under $10)

Candles (Hobby Lobby); Candlesticks ( Hobby Lobby) ( after Christmas last year)

Gold and Rose Gold silverware- (At Home Store)

Little Pine Cones- ( outside); Little Pine Trees ( Target dollar bin), Gold napkin decor- (Hobby Lobby)

Festive Cocktail

Winter Wonderland White Cranberry Martini

Image may contain: drink and indoor

  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • 1 ounce White Cranberry Juice ( I used White Cranberry Strawberry)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 ounce Rosemary simple syrup
  • fresh or frozen cranberries to garnish
  • ice cubes

Rosemary Simple Syrup ( makes about a 1/2 cup of simple syrup)

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, crushed to release essential oils

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Add rosemary and let simmer for 1 min.  Remove the rosemary from the syrup and pour into an airtight container and store in the fridge.

Creating the Drink

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and add all the ingredients.
  • Secure the cover and shake, shake
  • Strain into your favorite cocktail glasses and garnish with bright red cranberries.
