Hello Friends! Happy Thanksgiving! As I sit here on the eve of thanksgiving, I am reminded of all the amazing blessings God has bestowed upon me and I am completely humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude. I hope you find yourself thinking about all your grateful for during this time as well.
As I prepared my thanksgiving table, I wanted it to be simple yet elegant. I also wanted my table setup to be something easy, that others could replicate and one in which I wouldn’t have to spend a ton of money.
My table consists of the following things:
Brown Kraft Paper for the place mats
Four beautiful glasses for water ( bought at dollar general)
Four Martini glasses
Four White Plates
Four Gold Napkins ( Hobby Lobby)
Leaf centerpiece, candle, and decoration on napkins ( Hobby Lobby)
Two candles, candle holders, rose gold silverware ( At Home)
Candle and Candle holder ( already owned)
I hope this simple design will help inspire you as you are preparing for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with your family and friends.
Need a fun themed drink to go with your Turkey dinner? Gotcha covered. I got this recipe from another blogger I follow and it is AMAZING!
APPLE CIDER SANGRIA
1 Bottle of Pinot Grigio
2 1/2 Cups Fresh Apple Cider
1 Cup Club Soda
1/2 Cup Ginger Brandy
1/4 Cup Ginger Beer
3 Honey Crisp Apples ( chopped)
3 Pears ( Chopped)
Combine all ingredients and stir. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
To serve: Pour some brown sugar on a plate. Wet the top of the glasses and spin the top of glass in the brown sugar mixture to coat the rim. Pour in the sangria mixture and garnish with a cinnamon stick… Yum!
Don’t want to make it alcoholic??? No problem, just add non-alcoholic apple cider to the fruit and Ginger Beer!
MY WISH FOR YOU!
I know we can so easily get wrapped up in the next thing on our to-do list or the things we want to get done or buy for Christmas, but my wish for you is that you take today and reflect on all the amazing blessings you have been given, enjoy time with your family and make precious memories that will last you a lifetime. Put your phone down and be in the moment… allow yourself to BE PRESENT! I love you all and am so thankful for you all! Thanks for your support! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Stay Kind and Fashionable,
