Hey friends! Is it cold where you’re at yet??!!! This last week it hit 37 degrees… What?! It’s like winter came early. I also got a little delivery last week that was so much fun! I have seen so many people using stitch fix and I’ve always wondered if it was worth all the fuss. I was looking online and thinking about booking my first fix and noticed that during the month of October teachers could try the program for free, so that’s exactly what I did!
I thought I’d share the five items I got in my first style fix and all about the process in case any of ya’ll are interested or are wondering how it works. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Stitch Fix is a online subscription and personal shopping service in which you get five different items sent straight to your doorstep every month, or whenever you set up a delivery.
How it works
Stitch Fix has you do a style quiz to figure out your personal style, sizing, and price range, to help your personal stylist get you some awesome items. Get 5 curated items sent directly to your house from your stylist. Take 3 days to try on and decide what you want to keep. If you like any item in the package, you can purchase the item outright from the website , or all the items for a HUGE discount. Any items you don’t want, you can send back in the prepaid package enclosed in the box. You can sign up for automatic fixes each month or schedule one anytime.
Enclosed with the clothing is this write up with outfit suggestions and some styling tips for the 5 curated items in your fix!
So are ya’ll ready to see what I got in my first fix??? I decided to style all the items to show you the pieces and how you can mix and match them with other items to create different looks and outfits!
Here are the items I got in my first fix:
A Gray Cardigan
A long sleeve cream and gray striped shirt
A floral dress
Black checked pants
A silver necklace (not pictured)
The Gray Cardigan
The perfect length, fit and it was so comfy and warm!
Striped Shirt
Dress it down or up!
Floral Dress
Wear it alone, add a cardigan or sweater over the top, or even rock with a skirt!
Black Checked Pants
Dress them up or down! Loved the cute zipper pocket detail! (Last picture shows the zipper pockets the best)
I had so much fun trying on the picks from my stylist, and trying out stitch fix for the first time. I would totally recommend this to anyone that’s on the go and doesn’t have a ton of time to shop, or for anyone who loves clothing and trying new things. I loved how convenient it was to return the items or buy items I loved! I didn’t keep any of the items this time, but I’m looking forward to my next fix and hopefully next months picks will be even better!
