Ya’ll I love shopping and when I can find really awesome items for super cheap, count me in! Thrifting has become one of my favorite things to do! You have to be willing to search, but if you do, you’ll end up finding some really great items for WAY cheaper! I started going to the goodwill more this last summer and I am hooked! I am super excited to show ya’ll what I picked up this time and for only $16!
Mom Jeans
Mom jeans- yup, that’s right! They are back in style, people! And I’m loving the look and feel! Funny thing- I saw the jeans on the rack with no tag and thought ” there’s no way they will fit”- well, guess what??!!! They fit perfectly and I would have missed out on these fabulous jeans if I hadn’t tried them on. You never really know if something will fit right or even look good unless you try them on! So anytime I’m thrifting and I think maybe, I grab the item and try it on just in case. Not only did they fit perfectly, but I paid $4 for a pair of Jeans!!!!
Black Cozy V-Neck Sweater
This sweater is seriously the comfiest, coziest, softest material… I may be living in it over the winter! It’s the perfect length to wear with leggings! Score! It’s also great to wear with a denim skirt as we transition into fall.
White Fuzzy Sweater
This fuzzy sweater is a little bigger ( it’s technically a maternity sweater), and the back is longer than the front, which makes it another sweater perfect for pairing with leggings. Leggings and sweaters are the best and simplest combo during the fall! They are an easy go to when you’ve got a day full of errands, a coffee date with a friend, or even brunch! I also love this sweater layered over a button up blouse, or a dress.
Stars and Strips Tee
I am so excited about this shirt! I love graphic tees and this shirt is a great tee to pair with my mom jeans , or skinny jeans and some boots. I could also see myself wearing this shirt under a blazer, or with my denim skirt, or even for July 4th.
Striped Collard Blouse
Honestly, this blouse was an in-between item for me, but for $3 I decided I’d get it. I knew I could wear it to work with my black/gray slacks, a pencil skirt, or even with jeans for a more relaxed look. I love this blouse with my gray skinny Rock-star Jeans from Old Navy and my L.l. bean boots. This is a great blouse to wear under a dress or a jumper as well!
Wearing it with my mom jeans!
What cute things! I’ve always wanted to go into Goodwill when I’m there dropping off, but I’m usually in a time crunch. You’ve inspired me, though, I’m going to check it out!
