Hey friends! Hope you’re all doing well! I am so excited to start this new series on the blog! I have thought about sharing some of my favorite things for a while now, and I finally just said… ” It’s time, here we go!” First off, I have been loving the weather lately…it’s beginning to feel more like fall! Fall is my favorite! I love all the festivals, the food, the decor, the weather, and of course, the fashion!
So here are a few things that I have been loving this month!
We celebrated Dave’s 29th birthday this month by taking an awesome trip to St. Louis, where we got to visit some of our favorite restaurants, the planetarium and the Science Center, and found some new favorites! Read about our awesome weekend here!
My front door!!!
I have lived in an apartment for forever and I can not tell you how over the moon excited I was to be able to finally decorate my front door AND cute little porch, for the first ever! Isn’t it cute??!!!
I am in love with the wreath I got from Target (of course) and It was my first Joanna Gaines purchase! 🙂 AND I love this door mat!
Pumpkins and Mums from Walmart! Yall head to your Walmart now if you want some super inexpensive front door decor- Pumpkins were $3.99 each and the Mums were $8-10 each.
Black Taxi Cab Hat
I love hats and I have WAY too many, but I have wanted a black taxi cab hat for years and I haven’t found THE hat until now! I was just wandering around Target around a week ago and I happened to see it! It’s the perfect shape and I love the braided detail at the top.
Hart of Dixie
Ya’ll I am obsessed with this show! I tried watching this show a few years back and maybe I never gave it the shot it needed, but I’m so glad I began watching it again… it is so funny. If you haven’t ever watched it, check it out, you will not be disappointed. I also am totally loving Rachel Bilson as the big-city doctor Zoe Hart, now living it up in BlueBell Alabama! The cast was so perfectly selected and I seriously have fallen in love with all of them. The southern charm, feisty wit, and eccentric characters have a way of reminding me of my childhood in Birmingham Alabama! And if that’s not enough to convince yall to watch the show, here are some of my favorite one-liners!
Wade Kinsella: You’re drunk as a boiled Owl!
Lemon Breeland: When I heard that Daddy had hired a new secretary, I told myself, ‘Lemon you have got to bring that girl a covered dish!’
AnnaBeth Nass: Oh there you are! I thought you’d been called up in the rapture or something.
Magnolia Breeland: I’d like to butter his biscuit. He looks like a man who enjoys a nice dairy spread on his bread products.
Carmel Pumpkin Swirl
I recently bought some wallflowers for my classroom and then decided I needed them for the house too! I dropped a lot of $ at Bath&Bodyworks, but it was so worth it! I am absolutely loving the Carmel Pumpkin Swirl scent in our house! Every morning when I open our bedroom door, I am greeted by the warm aroma of the Carmel pumpkin and I it makes my day! Especially when the scent and my coffee mix together… mmmmm fall!
Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Gel
I have the blondest eyebrows, so I always have to fill them in. I have used a variety of brow fillers and up until I found this brow gel, I was using Maybelline’s brow define and fill duo, but I had to refill my brows every morning. This brow gel is waterproof and it lasts up to 2 days! It has been saving me so much time in the mornings and I just LOVE my brows!
As always, I love to hear from you all and would love to hear what you all are loving this month as well! What have you been loving??!!
