A special Valentine’s Day Gift: An engraved wood watch!

Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it. Have you thought about what you’ll get the love of your life? I feel like every year Valentine’s Day comes and I’m left with no clue of what to get Dave. Celebrating our 5th Valentine’s Day together and going on year 5 of marriage, I really wanted to get him something great for Valentine’s day!

This last year was full of new things and transitions for us as a married couple. When Dave and I met, he was a touring guy and was on the road months at a time. We had a long distance relationship for a little over a year, got engaged and 4 months later got married. For the first 3 years of our marriage, Dave continued to work as a merchandise manager for different bands on the road. It was a fun job and always entertaining, but he was gone from home a lot. So this last year Dave decided he wanted to go back to school to study computer science. Last Valentine’s day we were celebrating Dave’s recent return back to school and his internship he received through O’Reilly. This Valentine’s Day we are celebrating his completion of school and full time employment at O’Reilly. He has worked so hard, getting straight A’s in school, and now landing this full time job, that I just wanted to spoil him a little this Valentine’s Day. But what to get him?!!!

When I received the Jord Wood Watch I chose for Dave, I was so excited, almost giddy! I loved all of the pictures I had seen, but opening the box to then see a gorgeous wooden box holding my Valentine’s Day gift for my hubby, made my heart race with anticipation. I chose to engrave the simple message  “Love you” on the Jord Wood Watch for Dave, so he will always remember.  I can’t wait to see him wear this beautiful piece of art to work, on date nights, and fancy outings. Ready to see some pics and the moment Dave opened his Valentine’s present??!
