It’s just about that time- Christmas! The time when we get together with family and friends, gathering around the beautiful lit up Christmas tree, with goodies in our bellies and joy in our hearts! If you’ve been around a while on the blog, you know that I love to dress up for special occasions (however, I usually only stay in my cute outfit for the dinner and some special family pictures around the tree afterwards). But I wanted to share some of my possible Christmas day outfit picks for Christmas 2017 and hopefully give you some fashion inspiration!
My first choice is a beautiful A line, wrap around dress from Cato. This dress features a higher neckline, so as far jewelry goes, I would add some bigger fancy earrings. You could add a fancy necklace, but I would definitely look for a bigger statement necklace that compliments the look. With the front being higher, the back can be lower! lol! So the back is one of my favorite parts, because the way the dress wraps allows the back to form a beautiful v. I also love that it is a sophisticated dress that could be worn for a party, for a wedding, or even for Valentines day! And it is the PERFECT length! I have pretty long legs and many times I have an issue with finding dresses that aren’t too short, so when I found this dress, I knew I had to have it!

My second choice is a gorgeous forest green A line dress with pockets! I absolutely love dresses with pockets… why didn’t they create these a long time ago??!!! But for real! I also love this color for the holidays and especially for Christmas! I bought this dress on sale at Target a couple years ago for about $14!!! I had to get it for that price! I will tell you, the dress didn’t fit as well as I wanted at first, (it was a little bigger around the waist, than I wanted) so I took it to get altered! Best idea ever!!! I have gone several times to get dresses, pants and skirts altered and it has saved so much money, and has allowed me to enjoy some of my favorite outfits for longer! This is such a versatile dress, that can be used for so many different occasions, AND can be paired with tons of different pieces of jewelry, shoes, and wraps to create many different looks!

My third choice is my fun striped skirt that some of you may have seen before! It is one of my favorite skirts and can be worn with so many different tops and blouses. I paired a red cardigan with it to give it that “Chrismasy feel”. To make it even more dressy, add lots of bling! The earrings, the necklace, and bracelets all should be shiny! I also took a couple pics with a shorter black sweater, the same skirt, and some silver pumps. I really like both of these looks and they are both super comfy! You could also add some cute tall black boots to give it a little more edge.
