3 Dressy Looks for Thanksgiving!

I can not believe that Thanksgiving is a couple days away! I mean, November flew by… actually it seems like this whole fall has really flown by. But this is the best part of the year for so many reasons, and a couple of them being fun festivities with family! I can not wait to see family soon.. Dave and I will be traveling to Ohio for Thanksgiving and getting to spend some quality time with his family and ALL his siblings! We have not all been together for years! While I am definitely a laid back, love comfy… wanna be in pj’s all day kind of gal, I also love to dress up! For thanksgiving and Christmas lunch/ dinner, I totally dress up! I have always had fun getting all dressy for the festivities and I have 3 looks to help inspire you this Thanksgiving!

I am so loving the belled sleeves this season! I have always loved the fashions of the 60’s and 70’s and with so many beautiful tops and dresses with bell sleeves, one just has to get a couple, right?!!! And I love a good pair of boots… I am rocking the same boots in all the pics!

Enjoy!

The first look is one of my absolute favorites and I believe I am going to wear this for Thanksgiving! This super cute dress is of course from Target. It has the bell sleeves that I am in love with and a really great paisley print with a kind of burnt umber/ copper and light gray detailing. And it has tassels attached to the draw string around the waist and tie string for the back. It also has the cutest little pom design detail around the neck. I paired it with my black tights ( not sure if I completely like the black), and my awesome high light tan boots.

For this look, you can find a really cute shorter dress with bell sleeves and pair with your favorite pair of boots. I also love hats, and this was a super cute look to pair with a nice hat!

The second look is with one of my favorite floral dresses. This dress was also from Target and is the perfect lavender dress. I have worn this with jeans before to dress it down, leggins and tights, like in this picture. I paired this flowy floral dress with the same lighter tan boots. This would also be super cute with some booties!

The third look is a lacy edition and a total 70’s looking dress! Because I have long legs, I could never wear this as a dress, so I always have to pair it with a cute pair of jeans, or leggings. I chose to go with my burgundy pants for this photo shoot. I love the look of the ivory with the burgundy and the way it makes the outfit look more “holiday like”.  This look is a little less dressy than the others, but I still think it is a great outfit! Again the bell sleeves are life! This gorgeous dress was found at one of the local boutiques here in Springfield.

I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving and I hope that I was able to provide even a little bit of inspiration for you as you try and find your perfect Turkey Day outfit!!!

From me to you- I hope your thanksgiving time with family and friends brings many laughs, lots of new memories and a bundle of blessings! – ErinRuscel

    1. Thanks girl! I absolutely love hats… wish I could wear them all the time! I sure hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well! Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the world and for following me… it means a lot!

  1. I have to say you look beautiful in each and every one of these outfits. I love the lavender dress and your burgundy trousers. Gorgeous!

    1. Yes! Love this dress! However for me it is more like a longer shirt, since I’m so tall. I loved pairing it with the cranberry pants! I was definitely comfortable in it! Thanks so much for the sweet comments and stopping by my little blog!
