Her name is Justine and she is one of the sweetest ladies on Instagram and she has a pretty fun jewelry business. So without further adieu, I would like to introduce you to Justine!

Justine, go ahead and  tell me a little about yourself… 

My name is Justine and I am married to my best friend. My hubby is always keeping me on my toes with his antics. If he says “watch this” I know its going to be over the top! I’m a mom to 2 teen girls (16&17) and I’m loving their teen years! I’ve recently started a small business & I enjoy meeting all the people while on this journey. Like you Erin! ❣

 So what is the name of your business? How did you come up with the name?

JKLeathers 

JK is short for Justine Kay. 

 Is this a side job, or are you aiming for it to be your full time job? 

I work full time at a local police department in the detectives division. This is a side business. I would love for this to be my full time job. My go to verse is Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.  For now, I’m enjoying this journey and I’m excited to see where it takes me.

So it sounds like you have a very interesting full time job,  how did your jewelry company come to be?  

This past year I’ve found my niche with hand-stamping jewelry. I create personalized jewelry to help tell your story. The pieces I make have a sentimental meaning to my customers. Whether its a favorite song lyric, favorite verse, their children’s names or something that makes them laugh. Its a part of them.

Do you have a favorite item you sell?   

Without a doubt its the hand-stamped leather cuffs! They are super fun to wear. The leather cuffs can really represent their personality. 

I really love my leather cuff that you designed… it is super cute and I have literally been wearing it every day since I got it!

My dream is to reach as many people as I can with my personalized items. I hope to leave them with a happier heart than before they first saw my items. 

My goal: I have something that I’m super excited about and feel.it will be a game changer for JKLeathers and hope to be able to share this news in the near future! 

I really love your dream and goal for your company and I sure hope you see that happen! Do you have any advice for others that may be trying to launch their own companies or stores? 

Oh my gosh, yes! Just do it!  Stop talking about it and start taking the steps to put your dream into a reality.  Ignore any resistance you may get from others about your idea. It just means they’re uncomfortable with change & that’s ok!  Find someone to talk to that will understand your goals. You can always contact me & Ill cheer you on!

If you could only have one meal all the time, what would you choose?  

Aside from any cholesterol issue 🤣🤣 I could live on Pepperoni Pizza for the rest of my life! 

 What is your favorite drink???

With trying to keep my heart healthy,  Sweet Red Wine.    But I do love a cup of Dr. Pepper in the morning. 

Okay, last questions:  If you could travel anywhere, where would you want to go and why? 

Cape Cod, Massachusetts has been a wish of mine since I was young. To stay in a quaint beach house and enjoy walks on the beach with my hubby and sight see. This would be the ultimate getaway for me.
