Teacher Fashions- My Favs- Part 1

School has been back in session for about two months now and I haven’t talked about my back to school fashion!!! I had planned on sharing this post with you all way earlier and somehow it got pushed to the side. It has been such a busy time readjusting to the craziness of teaching again, but I wanted to share some of my favorite teacher looks with you. And if you’re like me and you stand in front of you closet thinking, “ I have nothing to wear…” when you have a closet full of clothing, I will show you some super simple tricks to making your clothing look fresh and new!

One of the biggest fashion trends/ brands right now, well at least for teachers, is LulaRoe. I am seriously in love with everything LulaRoe offers, but not the prices. LulaRoe is pretty pricey overall, so I suggest having a party if you like a ton of their items or you find yourself wanting a lot of different styles. I threw a party last year and it was pretty simple to get a lot of free items- I actually received 2 pairs of leggings, and 2 carly’s. There are so many different ways to wear LulaRoe and that is one of the funnest parts of getting LulaRoe items and making your outfits look new. ( I will share a blog post later with some style tips for your LulaRoe items) Also- if you have not tried their leggings, you have too… they are the most comfortable leggings you will ever wear!

The dress I am going to share with you is from a friends party that I went to last year and when i totally became obsessed with LulaRoe. This dress is called the Amelia (how cute, right?!) And one of the best parts… it has pockets!!!! Wait, let me say it again… it has pockets!!!

Since it isn’t too cold yet, I am getting the most out of my cute skirts and dresses. And I bought the cutest skirt that i can wear during the summer with my strapy sandals or in the fall/ winter with some black tights and booties or wedges. This is such a versatile skirt. You can dress it up with a fancier blouse, or dress it down with a cute graphic tee! I will show you some different looks I have done with this skirt!

I also love fun blouses and I have found some really great blouses for cheap using the wish app and going to she-in. The one that I will be showing you is definitely a fun summery blouse and one that I would usually wear at the beginning of the school year and/ or during the spring semester. I like wearing this just as is, but I have also layered a blazer over the top and I loved that look. Also this blouse has flamingos and palm trees on it!!! So cute!

And you can’t go wrong with a great white shirt! You can layer and create so many looks with a white shirt. This next look is a plain white top with one of my favorite black bohemian skirts. This skirt has been perfect for the summer and is now perfect for the fall! I also love to wear graphic tees with my skirts and his skirt is a great one to pair those graphic tees with!  I believe I got this skirt at Target, but these bohemian skirts are super easy to find and are great to wear for a comfortable, put together look.

Part 2 will be coming soon and it will have a ton of options on how to use the same clothing items and create new looks!

Til next time,

Stay fashionably fabulous teachers
